About Patrick Kriss
Chef Patrick opened his critically acclaimed flagship restaurant, Alo, in 2015 soon followed by Aloette, Alobar Yorkville, Salon, Aloette Go and Alobar Downtown. In 2022, Alder joined his renowned family of restaurants. The Toronto native and Alo Food Group owner began his culinary career in his hometown prior to working in both New York and France.
At Alder, Chef Patrick Kriss draws inspiration from traditions and techniques long practiced in and around the Mediterranean – spanning Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Morocco. Whether you're gathering with friends for small plates and cocktails, or diving into a feast of prime meats and fresh seafood, we've got you covered.
